The Texas Burlesque Festival returns to Austin from May 14-16, 2026, celebrating burlesque, vaudeville, cabaret and variety performance through a weekend of shows, workshops, parties and community programming.
The festival opens Thursday, May 14, at Elysium Nightclub, with doors at 8 p.m. and the show beginning at 9 p.m. Hosted by Gemmi Galactic, opening night will set the tone for the weekend’s performances.
Friday and Saturday night events will take place at The Long Center, with ASL interpreters available both nights. Guests are encouraged to dress to impress for the festival’s signature mix of glamour, comedy, theatricality and performance art.
Founded in 2007, the Texas Burlesque Festival is one of the longest-running burlesque festivals in the world. The 2026 edition also marks a new chapter with Texas Burlesque Productions, a Texas not-for-profit corporation now producing the festival and supporting burlesque, cabaret and vaudeville performers through educational, networking and professional opportunities.
