The Contemporary Austin hosts a mail-themed Arty Party on Aug. 28 at Laguna Gloria. Designed for children ages 3 and younger, the free interactive story time features books, songs and hands-on activities with Parents Climate Community and Stephanie Chavez Noell. Families can help create a community art quilt titled “Dear Me,” match mail to its mailbox and design a giant stamp. The all-ages program runs from 10 to 11 a.m.
