The Contemporary Austin will present On Trend / Off Balanced: A Panel on Fashion and Sustainability on Wednesday, April 30, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Jones Center, 700 Congress Ave.

The discussion will examine the tension between fast-changing fashion trends and sustainable practices, featuring voices from community organizing, education, retail and environmental advocacy. Panelists will explore local waste-reduction efforts and share strategies for encouraging more mindful consumption.
