The Herb Bar to Relocate After Nearly 40 Years on South Congress, Hosts Spring Market Farewell

After nearly four decades on South Congress Avenue, The Herb Bar, a beloved Austin apothecary and wellness shop, is moving to the Cherrywood neighborhood this spring. The new store will open in May 2025 at 3200 Merrie Lynn Ave., located near neighborhood spots The Long Goodbye, Howdy’s and The Love Supreme.

Since opening its doors in 1986, The Herb Bar has served Austinites as a source for herbal remedies, wellness products and community-focused events.

To celebrate the transition, The Herb Bar will host a Spring Market on Saturday, April 12, coinciding with the Libra Full Moon. The event will feature a Full Moon Circle, aura photo booth, henna artist, local vendors, tarot readings and Akashic record readings by Jenny Oakwalker.
