GRAMMY-nominated duo The War and Treaty will perform at Antone’s Nightclub in Austin on Saturday, May 10 at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m. The performance is part of their national tour supporting “Plus One,” their newly released studio album produced by Michael Trotter Jr. and recorded at the storied FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
Known for their powerful blend of gospel, country, soul, folk-rock, and bluegrass, Michael and Tanya Trotter have earned critical acclaim and a devoted following for their emotionally charged live performances and genre-crossing sound. “Plus One” marks their most ambitious release to date, featuring collaborations with Jonathan Singleton, John Shanks, Jesse Frasure, and guest appearances by Miranda Lambert and Billy Strings.
The show follows a series of high-profile appearances, including recent performances at the GRAMMY Awards, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” and the “People’s Choice Country Awards,” as well as tour stops with Chris Stapleton, Zach Bryan and The Rolling Stones.
