This Fiestas Patrias also serves as the kick off of El Dieciséis de Septiembre, or the Sixteenth of September, which marks the beginning of Mexican Independence Day and the start of Hispanic Heritage Month.
During the event, guests will enjoy mouthwatering new dishes created especially for this celebration along with signature cocktails by tequila partner Leyenda de México Tequila. Live music will set the tone for the festive dining experience.
Fonda San Miguel’s co-founder, Tom Gilliland, will also share a major announcement as well as exciting previews surrounding the restaurant’s upcoming 50th Anniversary celebrating half a century of serving the Austin Community.
