Uptown Sports Club will celebrate its second anniversary on April 12 with a ticketed po’boy showdown featuring top Austin chefs, live music, and New Orleans-style flair. The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m. at the East Sixth Street venue, with a free late-night concert on the patio to follow.
Chefs from Canje, Knuckle Sandwich, JewBoy Sub Shop, OMG Squee, and others will compete with creative takes on the classic po’boy sandwich. Guests can sample entries, vote for a fan favorite, and enjoy drinks, grilled oysters, and desserts from Bésame and OMG Squee.
