Rain boots, ponchos and creative layering made a splash during a muddy Weekend One
During the first weekend of ACL Festival this year, the weather had a say in what everyone wore. Rain on Thursday and into Friday morning turned Zilker Park into a muddy adventure, making rain boots, ponchos and waterproof layers weekend essentials. But a little mud didn’t keep festivalgoers from having fun with their looks. Brightly colored boots and oversized jackets were everywhere, with attendees finding clever ways to stay dry and look good doing it.
By Sunday, making it through “ACL Mud Fest” felt like a shared accomplishment. We were impressed by how quickly festivalgoers adapted, proving that practical can still be chic. Take a look at some of our favorite outfits from Weekend One.
