How “Emily in Paris” Sparked a Milestone for Austin Jewelry Designer Liz Fox Roseberry

Roseberry shares her passion for crafting unique jewelry, including pieces featured in the hit Netflix series, and her family ties with the Creative Director at Schiaparelli

For thirteen years, Liz Fox Roseberry worked as a digital designer, but the monotonous routine of staring at screens all day left her craving a more hands-on experience. In a bold leap of faith, she left her job with no set plans, determined to discover her next passion. That search led her to the captivating world of wirework, where she fell in love with its versatility and limitless potential for creative expression.

This newfound passion sparked the creation of a unique jewelry business specializing in earring jackets. Unlike traditionally sold earrings, these innovative pieces serve as elegant counterparts that beautifully hold a pair of studs in place. But these jackets are more than just holders—they are intricately crafted works of art designed to stand out with their unique, thoughtful aesthetics.  To complete the piece, Roseberry pairs each jacket with the perfect studs to complement the jacket, ensuring that every combination is custom-selected to complement its partner.

Her design process is as organic as it is inspiring. “I try not to look at trends or see what other designers are doing,” she explains. Much of her creativity blossoms through experimentation, where even mistakes can lead to beautiful new designs. One of her popular pieces—flower-inspired earrings—was born from a moment of unexpected inspiration: “I didn’t have enough wire for the flower I was making, so I chopped it, and I was like, ‘That’s pretty!’”

Recently, Liz celebrated an exciting milestone when one of her first designs was featured on the hit Netflix series “Emily in Paris.”

How family ties with Schiaparelli helped launch Roseberry’s jewelry on the global stage

Creativity runs deep in the Roseberry family. Liz’s older brother, Daniel Roseberry, is the Creative Director at Schiaparelli, where he shapes the brand’s distinctive vision and designs for celebrities like Lady Gaga, Bella Hadid, and Beyoncé. When Daniel asked Liz for a selection of her pieces to share with friends and colleagues, she sent him a generous order without giving it much thought afterward.

To her surprise, she later discovered that Daniel had gifted a pair of her matchstick earrings to the show’s star, Lily Collins, who decided to wear them in a scene. “I didn’t expect anything from it,” Liz recalls. “But when I saw my earrings on screen, it felt like hearing your song on the radio for the first time.”

With such a significant milestone, Roseberry couldn’t contain her excitement and took to social media to share the news. Throughout her journey, she has embraced social media as a powerful platform to narrate her story and foster authentic connections with her audience. Her followers have been with her every step of the way, celebrating her achievements and growth from the very beginning.

Liz Fox Roseberry’s personal touch and creative vision

For Roseberry, the sense of community she’s cultivated is one of her most cherished rewards. “When I read the reviews, some women say this is something they look forward to every day. It makes them feel fabulous,” she shares. This personal touch extends to her business practices—she handwrites thank-you notes for every order, fostering a heartfelt bond with her customers.

As she continues to innovate, Roseberry stays true to her core values: creating beautiful, accessible jewelry that connects with her audience. Every piece is thoughtfully designed to be lightweight, hypoallergenic, and nickel-free.

With exciting new creations on the horizon, this creative remains driven by spontaneity and inspiration. “There are some really fun things coming soon, but I never know what they are until they happen,” she teases.
