Guad Vintage Market Launches in Austin
The new haven for vintage shoppers and vendors opens this November
An exceptional sense of style comes from within, but it helps to have great places to shop as well. Austin is a city filled with fashionable people and part of the reason behind that is our abundance of gorgeous vintage stores filled with stand-out pieces. Now, even more opportunities to build an eclectic and eco-friendly wardrobe are coming with a soon-to-open weekly vintage market.
Pavement, the expansive modern and recycled clothing retailer and the upcoming true vintage store Leopard Lounge have announced a new collaboration called Guad Vintage Market, which will debut on November 21. Located right outside of the beloved shops at the corner of Guadalupe and 30th Streets, the dynamic new marketplace will showcase local vendors every Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
“Guad Vintage Market will be the largest weekly market in Austin,” says Courtney Hamala, the managing partner at Pavement and Leopard Lounge. “We’re excited to create an environment that provides opportunities for local vendors and allows Austinites to easily shop locally and sustainably.”
The new shopping destination will become the ultimate destination for lovers of vintage, upcycled and sustainable fashions. More than 30 vendors will be able to showcase their garments in the space, giving shoppers a wide variety of thoughtfully curated brands and special items.
Make time on your Sundays to stop by Guad Vintage Market and pick out some pre-loved, one-of-a-kind clothes. Vendors interested in participating in the market can contact guadvintagemarket@gmail.com. You can also stay up to date by following Guad Vintage Market on Instagram.
