HarperSage and Parker + Scott Opens Flagship Boutique and Sustainable Market in Rosedale
Austin-based brands launch shop featuring sustainable fashion, home goods, apothecary and more

Austin-based companies HarperSage and Parker + Scott teamed up to open a combined flagship boutique and market at 4803 Burnet Rd. The 2,000-square-foot shop features a thoughtfully designed interior accented by pastel hues and floral murals, offering a curated selection of fashion, home goods, apothecary essentials and locally sourced products. Both women entrepreneurs built their brands around purpose-driven missions—HarperSage through conscious, small-batch fashion, and Parker + Scott by curating eco-friendly goods and promoting local makers.
“Our customers are the same customer; they just haven’t met yet,” Haisley said. “We both felt there was a need in Austin for an intentional, one-stop shopping experience focused on sustainability and community.”
Ethical and sustainable ethos
HarperSage’s flagship prominently showcases its signature clothing line, made in partnership with a SEDEX-certified, women-led factory in India using surplus natural fabrics. Meanwhile, Parker + Scott’s portion of the store offers sustainable products, everyday essentials and a refill bar specializing in eco-friendly apothecary items such as face oils, shampoos and soaps.
“I really wanted to design the space kind of like a coffee shop, where you walk through a distillery, so people can walk through the studio and see our process,” she said. “It’s important to advocate without preaching about why it’s essential to know who’s making your clothes.”
Haisley shares a similarly personal commitment to sustainability, driven by the goal of leaving the world better for future generations.
“My husband and I have three kids, and we’re constantly thinking about small changes we can make to reduce our impact,” Haisley said. “We’re committed to helping customers join us on that journey by providing practical ways to shop more sustainably.”

Grand opening celebration
The public was invited to celebrate the store’s grand opening on International Women’s Day, March 8, featuring activities including a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m., complimentary coffee, pastries, face painting, a flower cart and a raffle giveaway. Future events will include workshops on soap-making, bead-making and Easter egg painting.
“Our community is incredible—not just small business owners, but creators and makers, many of whom are women,” Haisley said. “When sourcing new products, we prioritize local, women-owned, and sustainable businesses. We’re excited to create a space where people can connect, create and inspire one another.”
