Wu Chow, one of downtown’s newest restaurants, is serving up Chinese fare so authentic that the menu has a disclaimer explaining that substitutions may get lost in translation — literally. Explains co-owner CK Chin, “Part of the authenticity of our dishes comes from the fact that our chefs are all originally from China. Bridging the language barrier has been imperative in allowing our largely non-Chinese speaking staff to communicate with our kitchen.”
