Several holiday markets are being held around town to promote small businesses, artists and vendors within the Austin community. Make a visit to one of our favorite markets listed below to find a special something for a loved one — or a perfect gift to treat yourself!

Blue Genie Art Bazaar

Blue Genie’s seasonal Art Bazaar is underway through Dec. 24, and with approximately 200 artisans together under one roof, there’s something for every shopper. From bags to books to jewelry and more, attendees can find unique and affordable pieces that reflect their personal style. Entry is free for this annual crowd-pleasing event. Plus, if you’re out of town for the holiday season, you can still shop online and have locally-made items shipped to your door.

Hill Country Galleria’s Holiday Artisan Market

The Central Plaza at the Hill Country Galleria is hosting a Holiday Artisan Market on Dec. 1 from 4-9 p.m. Browse an array of vendors for shopping in a festive environment with live performances and bright lights. Guests can expect to find artisan jewelry, handmade goods, art and more at the Galleria. Take part in the holiday cheer with the whole community, and enjoy free parking and free admission.

Markets for Makers

Support local makers and small businesses when you shop at Markets for Makers, on Dec. 2 and 3 at the Palmer Events Center. Featuring 120+ diverse makers specializing in home décor, fashion, art, design and food, the market will host a mix of Austin-based makers including Mad Glass Studio, Rosedale Paper, Ally Aiken Design, Sweet Thyme Design, Daisy Metalworks, Lemon Lines Paper LLC, Free Souls Beauty and theREXperiment, as well as makers that have traveled in from all over the country such as So Stoned Crystalz, No Wrong Answers, Sister the Brand and The Blush Edit.

Holiday Mini Market

The 12th annual Holiday Mini Market will be held on Sunday, Dec. 3 at Distribution Hall. The marketplace will include shops that support local women-owned businesses, gathered in one place to help attendees get all of their holiday shopping finished. Guests can also enjoy local music, gift bags, complimentary drinks, food trucks and more. Tickets are free of charge, but RSVPs are recommended. There will be free parking along the street and at a nearby garage.

Armadillo Christmas Bazaar

The Armadillo Christmas Bazaar is a tried-and-true destination for all of your last-minute shopping needs. With nearly 200 curated artists selling their creations from Dec. 15 – 23, as well as a diverse lineup of live musicians, food from Southside Flying Pizza and two full bars, guests can find gifts for the art lovers in their lives as they browse around the Palmer Events Center. Be sure to purchase a day ticket or seasonal pass early as tickets for the bazaar always go fast.

 Merry Market

Austin’s Merry Market transforms holiday shopping into an immersive experience on December 1st, offering a carefully curated selection of 16 local makers inside designer Kim Lewis’ charming 1900s farmhouse studio. More than just a market, this one-day event features complimentary Tequila 512 “Merry Berry” cocktails, Burro Cheese Kitchen’s grilled cheese, a custom bolo bar, festive photo booth, and a “Color Corner” for kids, with $5 from each ticket benefiting Rosa Rebellion, an Austin-based nonprofit focused on racial justice. Guests can explore unique local offerings from wall art and holiday candles to Austin-themed prints and handmade ceramics, all while enjoying a warm, welcoming atmosphere that celebrates the city’s creative community.
