Amore Austin Assists with Planning the Most Romantic and Extravagant Marriage Proposals
Local company coordinates customized, elaborate proposals to make magical memories for their customers
If you’ve seen an epic marriage proposal pop up on your news feed recently, there’s a good chance it was planned by Amore Austin, a proposal planning company based in Austin.
Founder Tessa Bertamini and her team are on a mission to make the process of proposing more enjoyable, as often the person doing the proposing can be overwhelmed by the pressure to create the perfect moment, potentially leading them to not celebrate this huge milestone properly.

“I love being able to facilitate that moment so the client gets to enjoy their proposal and they don’t have to worry about how they’re going to carry the flowers or anything,” says Bertamini. “It’s a big moment for the person who is actually asking the other person to marry them and that person can often be overshadowed.”
Custom experiences and visionary packages
Amore offers pre-set proposal packages and more elaborate custom proposal experiences, coordinating with florists, photographers, event spaces and all other vendors to make each proposal a wonderful and one-of-a-kind memory for their customers. The team serves all couples, but Bertamini notes that most of her clients are men in need of some real guidance.

“90% of the guys that come to me have literally no idea what they want to do,” laughs Bertamini. “They just know the things they don’t want, so we narrow it down and match them with a proposal package.”
These packages range from the Luxury Picnic Proposal Experience, a nature-filled moment that can be hosted in one of Austin’s many beautiful parks, to the epic Lady Bird Lake Proposal Experience, which includes a one-hour canoe rental offered in partnership with The Rowing Dock. Professional photography is included with all proposal experiences, meaning the couple’s life-changing “yes!” moment will forever be captured.

Custom proposal experiences are more intricate and imaginative, offering the Amore team a chance to showcase their creativity and attention to detail.
“Custom experiences are honestly my favorite because it gives us a chance to really make something special for someone” says Bertamini.
Planning the perfect proposals for magical memories
No matter what you choose, the planning always starts with conversations with the lead planner and her team before evolving into either a pre-planned proposal package or a custom planning experience. Whatever the proposer is looking for, Bertamini explains that the process of executing a proposal can be a lot of work — and that it’s okay to ask for help.
“We just want to help people and make their lives easier,” says Bertamini. “That’s what we’re here for.”
At this point, Bertamini has seen hundreds of proposals, each one unique and special to the couple getting engaged. She’s particularly moved by the proposals that involve family and friends, pointing to a specific proposal in which a client flew into Austin from out of town solely for Amore Proposals to plan the event. He also flew out his partner’s entire family to be there for the monumental occasion, an indelible moment in their lives.
“It’s always very sweet. It’s always very emotional,” she says. “I’m not a big crier, but when I see two people crying together, that gets me.”
