Lake Travis Gets a 60-Acre Luxury Resort Community With 3D-Printed Homes and Fractional Ownership
The Canyon Club will offer fractional ownership of 3D-printed homes, private shoreline access, and resort-style amenities about 45 minutes from Austin

A new luxury residential resort community is set to break ground on 60 acres of lakefront property in the Texas Hill Country, offering a mix of traditionally built and 3D-printed homes with a focus on fractional ownership and resort-style living.
The Canyon Club, announced Tuesday by development group Prasso Ventures, will feature 25 high-end residences on Lake Travis, including five homes constructed using 3D printing technology developed by Austin-based ICON. Located at 122 Shoreline Road, about 45 minutes from downtown Austin, the project was master planned and designed by Mark Richardson Architects, who also led the architecture for the 20 traditionally built homes.

Amenities at The Canyon Club
The development will include more than 2,000 feet of private shoreline, an on-site beach, boat slips, an infinity-edge pool and a clubhouse. Additional planned amenities include a luxury spa, adults-only pool, fitness center, pickleball and tennis courts, a Texas-style event barn and a natural amphitheater. Construction of community amenities is expected to begin in fall 2025.
Traditionally built homes at The Canyon Club will include five- and six-bedroom designs starting at $2.6 million. ICON’s 3D-printed homes—each approximately 3,400 square feet—will be available for fractional ownership, with 1/8 shares starting in the low $400,000s. Each share includes six weeks of annual use and full access to club amenities.
“The debut of ICON homes at The Canyon Club represents a reimagined way homes are built, owned and experienced,” said Jared Kuhn, vice president of real estate development and sales at ICON. “By combining advanced construction technologies with a fractional ownership model, we’re making it possible for more people to invest in and enjoy high-performing, sustainable homes.”
ICON expands in Central Texas with more 3D-printed projects
ICON’s involvement at Lake Travis marks its latest expansion in Central Texas. The company previously partnered with Lennar to develop a large-scale 3D-printed home community in Georgetown and is currently building homes in Wimberley and Austin’s Mueller neighborhood.
At The Canyon Club, owners of ICON homes will have the option to generate rental income through partnerships with Inspirato, Book-Above and ThirdHome. The 3D-printed homes are designed to reflect the natural topography of the surrounding canyons and incorporate energy-efficient, sustainable construction.
The Canyon Club is Prasso Ventures’ latest residential project. The firm’s portfolio includes luxury developments and hospitality investments across Texas, Arizona, Colorado and Washington.
A model home is currently under construction, with the first set of residences scheduled for delivery in late 2026. For more information, visit www.CanyonClub.com.
