Austin Restaurant Weeks Returns in October with A Mouth-Watering Lineup
Local eateries invite Austinites to try specialty menus for a good cause

From October 1 through October 10, more than fifty Austin-area food and drink establishments will be participating in Austin Restaurant Weeks.
Presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Delta Air Lines, the annual event brings together local restaurants, bars and breweries to offer delicious prix-fixe menus and drink specials, with a portion of sales donated to the Central Texas Food Bank. The last pre-pandemic Austin Restaurant Weeks raised enough money to provide 893,000 meals for Central Texans in need.

“We’re excited to be able to bring Austin Restaurant Weeks back for 2021,” said Mark Jackson, Chief Development Officer at the Central Texas Food Bank. “Over the past few years, the event has raised nearly a million-and-a-half meals for Central Texans facing hunger, so we’re looking forward to adding to that total this year.”

Austin Restaurant Weeks is an appetizing and easy way to help the fight against hunger while enjoying some of the city’s best food and drinks. During the event, diners at participating establishments can take advantage of one or more of the following specials: a 2 to 3 course lunch priced at $20; a 3 to 4 course dinner priced at $35 or $50; and various deals on beer, wine and Tito’s Handmade Vodka cocktails.

Set dollar amounts from each special are sent to provide hundreds of thousands of meals to the one in seven Central Texans who are food insecure.
