Live Oak Brewing Co. Oaktoberfest
September 20
Live Oak Brewing’s Oaktoberfest is back Saturday, Sept. 20 from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Expect stein-hoisting competitions all day, their classic Märzen Lager on tap, and live music by Dead Music Capital Band (2–4 p.m.) and Austin Polka Band (4:30 p.m.). Food trucks include The Black Forest and Texas Drip BBQ. The day also features the Paul McBeth Foundation’s Throw For More disc golf fundraiser and a special event with Another Round ATX. UT fans can catch the game in the taproom—wear burnt orange for $1 off drafts.

Banger’s Sausage Garden Oktoberfest

St. Elmo is going all out with a full weekend of Oktoberfest celebrations across both taprooms. Expect German-style beers (including Schlagen, their 6.5% Märzen), $10 stein pours on Friday, live polka bands, kids + adult stein-hoisting contests, yodeling competitions, Pretzel Head and Sour Duck pop-ups, and German-inspired eats from the food trucks. Music kicks off Friday with Yes Ma’am Brass Band and Big Wy’s Brass Band, continues Saturday with Comal Community Band and Dead Music Capital Band, and wraps Sunday with The Oompahs and Austin Polka Band.
