Spring has sprung! With Easter weekend approaching, Austin is blooming with festive ways to celebrate. Restaurants and hotels across the city are serving up special brunch menus, hosting egg hunts and planning springtime experiences the whole family can enjoy. Whether it’s a rooftop meal, live music on the lawn or a visit with the Easter Bunny, there’s something for everyone to hop into this season.

Commodore Perry Estate and Lutie’s Easter Sunday Experience

Commodore Perry Estate’s Easter events are a perfect opportunity to explore the gorgeous grounds at the hotel before heading to their signature restaurant for brunch on Sunday, April 20. Festivities include an egg hunt on the sprawling lawn and a petting zoo with baby pigs, bunnies and pygmy goats. Later, enjoy a luxurious brunch with a mimosa bar, arts and crafts tables and more at Lutie’s. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 512-817-5200.

Aba

Spend Easter on the stunning Aba patio while relishing in classic brunch menu items, along with the Easter special, the Spring Frittata with lump crab, asparagus, parmesan, brown butter, fresno and lemon. For dinner, available from 3 to 9 p.m., guests can enjoy a Roasted Leg of Lamb with gunpowder mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables and lamb au jus. For full details, visit Aba’s website.

Ciclo

Spring programming is in full bloom at the Four Seasons Hotel Austin. At Ciclo, the hotel’s signature restaurant, guests can enjoy a Sunday brunch buffet for $78 per person, featuring dishes such as poached jumbo shrimp, lobster benedict and smoked ribeye. Seasonal offerings also include Roses and Rosé Flights and Bites, a daily tasting experience with rosé champagne, caviar and wagyu bites available through May 25, and a Pop-Up Rosé Garden with live music on Thursdays and Fridays. From March 25 to April 22, Ciclo will also feature Viva Abejas specials, highlighting bee-dependent ingredients in support of ecological initiatives.

Summer House on Music Lane

Hotel Magdalena’s restaurant Summer House on Music Lane will host Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 20, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring seasonal food and cocktail specials alongside its regular brunch menu. Specials include Carrot Cake Waffles with pecan praline and spiced cream, and cocktails like the Key Limin and Somewhere in Texas. Families can also enjoy an Easter egg hunt on the Bobbie Nelson lawn. Reservations are available via OpenTable.

Fairmont Austin

Celebrate Easter at Fairmont Austin with a festive brunch buffet at Revue, featuring slow-roasted striploin, a pastry display and more. The experience continues on the 7th-floor rooftop deck with family-friendly activities, including a petting zoo and Easter egg hunt. Easter at Tillie’s

Drive out to Dripping Springs for a spring meal at Tillie’s. The gorgeous building is home to an amazing ambience and innovative internationally-inspired food. The special a la carte, family-style feast that will be served on Easter was crafted by Executive Chef Andy Knudson. Offerings include Scottish Salmon, Roasted Leg of Lamb, Strawberry Shortcake and more spring-forward items. Reservations can be made on their website.

Serenade

W Austin’s new restaurant Serenade will host an Easter brunch buffet on Sunday, April 20, featuring a spread of seasonal favorites including house-made pastries, smoked salmon bagels, a raw bar and prime rib. Guests can enjoy unlimited buffet access for $140 per person and $50 for children 12 and under, along with a limited à la carte menu. Reservations are available via OpenTable.

Celebrate Easter Sunday with a rooftop brunch at Nido, located at The Loren Hotel Austin. The three-course prix fixe menu by Executive Chef Christian Grindrod features spring dishes, a complimentary mimosa or Bloody Mary, and a seafood display. Guests can enjoy live music and skyline views, while kids take part in an Easter egg hunt in the hotel lobby. Brunch runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 20. $99 for adults and $50 for children, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are available on their website.

Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa will celebrate Easter weekend with a lineup of family-friendly events in the Texas Hill Country. Highlights include an Easter Ball Hunt, holiday crafts, photos with the Easter Bunny and a Sunday festival with live music, balloon twisting and a petting zoo. Easter Brunch at Blind Salamander Kitchen & Bar will be served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 20, featuring a buffet and optional bloody mary and mimosa bar. Brunch reservations are required via OpenTable. Sunday events are open to the public with brunch purchase; other activities are for resort guests and members.

BOA Steakhouse Austin will serve a prix fixe Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu features breakfast favorites, a seafood bar, salads, a carving station and a variety of sides and desserts. Highlights include lobster avocado toast, eggs benedict, cedar plank salmon, fried chicken with hot honey and lobster mac and cheese. Add-ons such as oysters, caviar and a Wagyu flight will also be available. Pricing is $85 per adult and $65 for children under 11. Reservations can be made online.
