Those looking to experience some of Austin’s Michelin-starred restaurants without booking a table at each one are in luck. This summer, Hestia is launching the Lonestar Dinner Series, a new event that brings together a rotating cast of chefs from Michelin-recognized restaurants across the city.

The lineup includes one-night-only menus with Evan LeRoy of LeRoy and Lewis (June 25), Kevin Cannon of Barley Swine (July 22) and Amanda Turner of Olamaie (August 19). All three spots, like Hestia, were awarded a Michelin star in the inaugural Texas guide last fall.

“Michelin coming to Texas last November was a special moment for our state,” says Kevin Fink, executive chef and partner at Hestia. “This dinner series is a way to celebrate with our friends and have some fun.”

Each dinner will feature a multi-course, collaborative menu priced at $200 per person, with optional wine pairings for $100. Reservations are now open via OpenTable, with seatings available from 5:30 to 10 p.m.

The stars of the show

Hestia has become a downtown destination for its globally inspired and flame-driven dishes. LeRoy & Lewis has made a name for itself with unexpected cuts like beef cheeks and bacon ribs. Barley Swine has helped usher in a new era of farm-to-table dining in Austin, and Olamaie has long served as a high-water mark for modern Southern cuisine.

Each night in the series is intended to reflect a blend of styles and the shared ethos between the chefs involved. “Each dinner will be a bit different as we collaborate with a wide range of incredibly talented chefs, starting with our peers in Texas,” Fink notes.

More chefs are expected to be announced throughout the summer. For the latest updates, visit Hestia’s website or follow along on their Instagram.
