Alfred at The Line Hotel

Alfred, a California-based shop, made its way to Austin in June 2018. Located inside the dining area of the Line Hotel, this spot is perfect for all who enjoy aesthetically pleasing interiors while sipping your daily dose of caffeine. Neon signs partnered with splashes of pink and black provide all the elegance and character you would expect from a modern coffee hub. There are sure to be an abundance of Instagram-worthy moments when visiting Alfred. Get your presets ready and grab a cup of their famous matcha or cold brew while you gram away.

Located on East Cesar Chavez, Cenote is the little blue house on the corner that lights up the whole neighborhood. This spot is perfect for summer days: Cenote has an amazing patio where you can hangout with pals while catching some rays. There are a lot of reasons that make this place special, one being their breakfast tacos. Many would agree that this place has some of the best breakfast tacos in Austin. No seriously – they are that good. Their in house chai is also quite delicious, so pair it with a taco.

More than a coffeehouse, Cherrywood prides itself on being a family friendly neighborhood place to hang out. Get your stretch on with free yoga offered on weekdays starting at 8 a.m. Wanting to get out of your regular routine? Check out their comedy nights scheduled throughout the month. Local artists and bands are also featured on Cherrywood’s calendar. No one is left out of the fun – Cherrywood puts on a show for kids every Sunday starting at 10:30 a.m. There are no boring days at Cherrywood. Located in the heart of Hyde Park, this hip and art-oriented space is what dreams are made of, at least for those wanting a quiet space. Serenity and tranquility encapsulate Flightpath. The walls are covered with the work of local artists, all of which happen to be available for purchase. Christmas lights don the outside of the building, bringing warmth and light to the patio. One might notice quirky details such as stained glass panels and low light lamps that hang above every table. Unique decorations such as these reinforce a sense of serenity throughout the shop.
