AFS Scary Movie Screenings

Nothing completes the Halloween season like a good scary movie. Join the Austin Film Society for a movie screening that will take you into the twilight zone between cinema and horror. Screenings run through October 28, so get your tickets now.

House of Torment

If you’re looking for a seriously good fright, this is the one is for you! The House of Torment will get your adrenaline pumping as you step into a horror scene featuring clowns, terrifying adventures and spooky sets.

When: October 18-31, November 3-4, November 10-11, 7:30 p.m.- 11 p.m.

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING EVERYONE WILL ENJOY?

Firework Show

Planet K is lighting up the sky this Halloween. Festivities include community fair booths and activities, and all proceeds go towards those affected by hurricane Harvey.

When: Tuesday, October 31, 9:30 p.m.
Where: East of Pleasant Valley Rd, behind Krieg Field

Aviator Pizza Annual Halloween Contest

Come dressed to impress with your best Halloween costume at Aviator Pizza’s Elgin and South Congress location. Be prepared to strike a pose for one of the staff members, and the photo receiving the most likes on the location’s Facebook page will win some amazing restaurant discounts.

Brawl-O-Ween: The Barre Code

Kick off your Halloween weekend with The Barre Code … literally! Get your sweat on with a poolside kickboxing class followed by a Halloween-themed pool party at the Austin Motel. To top off the event, the winner of the optional costume contest will get a free month at The Barre Code. Count us in! Tickets are $25.

Austin Parks Foundation: Halloween Spelltacular featuring “Hocus Pocus”

Support the Austin Parks Foundation while enjoying an evening of pumpkin smashing, candy walks and costume contests, along with a special showing of “Hocus Pocus”. The evening will truly be a Halloween Spelltacular event! Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children.

Halloween Children’s Concert: Austin Symphony

Family Night: Halloween Hootenanny

Thinkery is celebrating Halloween this year with activity stations that let you create your own spooky sound and face your fear of freaky foods. Come dressed in your frightful attire for a chance to win special prizes. Tickets are $13 for adults and $11 for children.
