Austin has long been a city where ambition and lifestyle intersect. This fall, that ethos takes physical form with the opening of Gevity, a private club in the Highland neighborhood designed as nothing less than the future of work and wellness.
Housed in an 18,000-square-foot flagship, Gevity blends the rhythms of modern life — movement, recovery, productivity, and connection — under one thoughtfully designed roof. The concept is striking in its simplicity: why scatter your energy across separate memberships, commutes, and spaces when one environment can hold it all?
A vision born of experience
The idea comes from Connor and Espoir Michalek, life partners and co-founders who have spent years leading wellness ventures and building communities across continents. Returning to Austin, they set out to create what they always needed but could never find: a system that supports sustainable success without sacrificing health or human connection.
“We didn’t want to build just another gym or workspace,” Connor says. “We wanted to design an ecosystem that evolves with you.”
Inside Gevity
Every detail of Gevity has been crafted with intention.
Members will find:
- Coworking zones with open desks, private call rooms, treadmill workstations, executive conference rooms, and sunlit lounges.
- A full gym and daily class schedule including yoga, strength, mat Pilates and mobility.
- The Gevity Lab, a recovery suite with infrared sauna, cold plunge, compression therapy, and red light.
- The Gevity Café, powered by Alchemy Organics, serving smoothies, bowls, matcha, and cold brew.
The design, executed by Plunkett Raysich, draws from nature and minimalism. Sand-toned walls, terracotta accents, and greenery create balance, while a central courtyard anchored by a live tree becomes a symbol of growth and connection.
More than membership
As a private club, Gevity curates experiences that stretch beyond the typical. From speaker salons and wellness activations to intimate community dinners and even idea-sharing sauna sessions, programming is designed to nurture both professional momentum and personal depth.
“It’s not about trends or status,” Espoir adds. “It’s about belonging without pretending. Gevity is a place where people come as they are — and leave a little more themselves.”

Join as a founding member
Set to open in Fall 2025, Gevity is more than a venue — it’s a prototype for how the next generation will live and work. As Austin evolves, Gevity offers a vision where longevity, not speed, becomes the measure of success.
Membership applications are now open, with an exclusive offer for the first 100 members: no initiation fee and a rate locked in for three years. More than a discount, it’s an invitation to help shape a new cultural blueprint for Austin.
