The Common Interest

One of Austin’s older party spots, The Common Interest began as a piano bar in the summer of 1974. In 1989, the joint implemented karaoke and has since blossomed into one of the city’s most beloved places for performing without inhibitions. Outer Heaven Disco Club

A legendary live music venue founded in 1974, the Hole in the Wall sits on Guadalupe Street right across the street from the University of Texas campus.
