Camp Gladiator Launches Free Streaming Workouts

Working up a sweat is a great way to keep your cool

Austinite’s daily workout and wellness routines are changing drastically in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic. But it’s important now more than ever to stay active and healthy. Local gyms might be closing, but you can still get your sweat on from the comforts of home with virtual workout sessions.

Camp Gladiator, a four-week outdoor group fitness program, is launching a free virtual workout experience called #HustleFromHome with two different digital workout options. To stream live workouts with CG trainers, the public can go to Camp Gladiator’s Facebook page to access the sessions.

Anyone can stream the workout from Monday through Friday, three times a day at 5:30 a.m., 8 a.m., 5:30 p.m. and on Saturdays at 8 a.m. If you’re unable to make those times, the videos will be posted and can be viewed at any time of the day.

Every class is taught by one of CG’s certified personal trainers, and the workouts do not require an extensive amount of equipment — just dumbbells and a mat.

If you want to go at your own pace, Camp Gladiator will also have printable workouts with a list of exercises for a quick, 30-minute workout. Trainers will explain and walk through proper form when attempting the exercises in a two-minute introductory video.
