In the heart of Westlake, a select group of Austinites embarked on a journey of leisure and style on November 15th. The occasion was none other than a private pickleball class infused with fashion flair. Dressed in the latest activewear from Addison Bay, pickleball instructor Amy Yarborough imparted the art of pickleball while celebrating the momentous collaboration between Tangerine and Austin-based abstract artist Erin Donahue Tice.

Upon arriving at the picturesque Westlake estate, attendees found themselves enveloped in an atmosphere of comfort and sophistication. Clad in athleisure, they were handed exquisite Tangerine pickleball paddles, pickleballs, and Weezie towels adorned with Tice’s distinctive designs. The stage was set for an unforgettable experience.

Erin Donahue Tice introduced herself to the eager participants. Sharing insights into the collaborative process, setting the tone for a day that seamlessly blended art, athleticism, and fashion. As the majority of the attendees were newcomers to the pickleball scene, Yarborough expertly navigated them through the rules, turning novices into enthusiasts. Laughter echoed on the court as volleys, serves, and friendly matches unfolded.

Post-exercise, the group gathered around the court, capturing the camaraderie in group photos that would serve as cherished memories. Transitioning indoors to the elegant residence, the celebration continued with a champagne toast, where guests indulged in light breakfast bites and coffee against the backdrop of the sprawling Hill Country views visible from the patio. It was a celebration of community, artistry, and the joy of creative collaboration both on and off the court. The fusion of pickleball, fashion, and art created an experience that resonated beyond the paddles and the canvases, leaving lasting memories in the hearts of all who attended.
