Austin Pride 2026: Supporting the LGBTQIA+ Community
Austin celebrates Pride Month in August with festivals and ways to give back

Austin Pride Month is celebrated annually in August, and we’re sharing some unique events and activities happening this month to support the LGBTQIA+ community. Below, you’ll find opportunities to join the festivities at two big festivals, as well as a spotlight on nonprofit organizations that can use support all year round.

Austin Pride Parade & Festival
One of the city’s most vibrant celebrations, the Austin Pride Parade & Festival returns on Saturday, August 22. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., head to Fiesta Gardens for a full day of live entertainment and performances. This year, festival tickets are free and all ages are welcome. It kicks off at the Texas State Capitol Building at 8 p.m. and marches down Congress Ave. ending at Congress Avenue Bridge.

The Front Fest
Future Front Texas brings four days of art, music, film and poolside events to venues across Austin from Aug. 27-30, spotlighting women and LGBTQ+ artists. The celebration begins with an opening-night swim at The LINE Austin, followed by a music showcase at Swan Dive, a film festival at The Contemporary Austin’s Laguna Gloria and a closing pool party back at The LINE. Tickets are available for individual days or the full weekend, with proceeds supporting the Creative Future of Texas Fund.
