“Funny Girl”

March 4-9

Texas Performing Arts & Broadway in Austin present “Funny Girl” featuring celebrated songs, including Don’t Rain On My Parade, I’m the Greatest Star, and People. This bittersweet comedy is the story of the indomitable Fanny Brice, a girl from the Lower East Side who dreamed of a life on the stage. Everyone told her she’d never be a star, but then something funny happened—she became one of the most beloved performers in history, shining brighter than the brightest lights of Broadway.

Coca-Cola’s Sips & Sounds Music Festival

Auditorium Shores
March 7-8

Grammy-nominated headliners Halsey and Benson Boone are coming to Austin for the 2-day festival that features some of today’s biggest names in pop music. Expect performances by Khalid, AJR, Suki Waterhouse, Chelsea Cutler & Jeremy Zucker Present: brent, Ashe, Nessa Barrett, Gus Dapperton, Paul Russell, Claire Rosinkranz, Blusher, Arcy Drive, Disko Cowboy, DJ Cassandra and more. Dopamine + Disintegration Exhibit

West Chelsea Contemporary
March 8 – April 6

Dopamine + Disintegration features the works of highly anticipated American debut, British artists Haris Nukem and Opake. The exhibit features an “electrifying collision of raw emotion, vibrant rebellion and provocative social critique.” Learn more about this exhibit at WCC.

Rodeo Austin

Rodeo Austin is making its return this March, coming back bigger and better than ever. The event comes along with an action-packed lineup of livestock shows, live music, carnival games, and Rodeo Austin’s exclusive after-hours honky-tonk.

Discovery Day: Texas

Celebrate everything that makes the Lone Star State wild and beautiful at this family-friendly festival. Discovery Day: Texas is all about getting hands-on with nature, learning something new, and soaking up a perfect Texas day. Expect fun activities from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. along with live demos, and plenty of chances to explore the plants, landscapes, and traditions that make Texas special.

“Hamilton”

March 25 – April 6

Lin-Manuel Miranda’s oh-so-popular “Hamilton” returns to Austin this spring. The epic saga follows the rise of Alexander Hamilton as he fights for honor, love and a legacy that would shape the course of a nation. With a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, this musical has had an impact on culture, politics and education since it’s debut in 2015.

MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas

Circuit of The Americas
March 28-30

Austin gears up for the return of high-speed racing as MotoGP’s fearless riders bring the world’s fastest bikes to the track. Daredevils climb the iconic Turn 1, navigate through COTA’s esses, and reach speeds of 220 mph.

“Love’s Gentle Spring”

Long Center
March 28-30

Ballet Austin presents “Love’s Gentle Spring,” a program celebrating renewal and the changing season. Artistic director Stephen Mills presents two world premieres, each set to music that captures the essence of spring.
