Peek Inside the Lively Launch Party for La Caza Tequila
Sprirts born in Austin, Texas, made in Jalisco, Mexico
On June 24, guests arrived in a mix of cowboy chic and gorgeous dresses in downtown Austin at 800 Congress Avenue to toast the launch of new ultra-premium spirits brand, La Caza Tequila at an exclusive party.
Founded in Austin by Drake Screws, La Caza’s Tequila’s Blanco, Reposado and Añejo tequilas are distilled in Jalisco, Mexico by the established Vivanco Family. All are crafted with all-natural Blue Weber Agave, grown and handpicked by fifth generation farmers in the Highlands Region.
Blanco is noted to be “smooth with a hint of sweetness.”
Reposado features a ” barrel-age temperament with full-bodied, hazelnut flavors.”
Añejo features “enchanting rich vanilla and caramel aromas and introduces subtle citrus and floral tones.
Interestingly unique, the tequilas are fermented for almost 100 hours to the sounds of Mozart’s music. The tequila is then poured into hand-blown glass bottles. La Caza, meaning “the hunt”, in Spanish, is a nod to the bold spirit of the founders while also inviting all who sip their tequilas to enjoy their own adventurous journeys.
At the lively and celebratory Austin bash, new friends formed over delicious sips. Guests grooved to tunes from singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, Jacob Alan Jaeger followed by Texas favorites, ELECTROPHUNCK. Bites of culinary magic were provided by Tates Family Farm and Austin Oyster Co. All of the stunning guests raised a glass to wish La Caza Tequila a bright future ahead.
Pick up a bottle of La Caza Tequila in the Austin area at stores including Spec’s Wine, Spirits & Finer Foods, Total Wine, and Twin Liquors. This will be perfect addition to any National Tequila Day celebrations on July 24. Be sure to visit lacazaspirits.com for more information.
