Pop Up Grocer Opens in Austin in June
The traveling grocery store stocks its shelves with the latest natural food and health brands
Pop Up Grocer is transforming the traditional supermarket shopping experience and making it an Instagram-worthy outing.
The traveling pop-up grocery store, which had month-long stays in New York and Los Angeles, is coming to Austin this summer.
The ground-breaking store filled with vibrant shopping carts and an aesthetically pleasing labeling system, will feature hundreds of natural food and health brands that have been hand-selected for being the most innovative and exciting brands in the food, beverage, home, pet and body industries today.
Austin shoppers can find local brands on Pop Up Grocer’s shelves, including Siete Foods, CLEAN Cause, Zubi’s and more.
Committed to helping small businesses and others in the Austin community profoundly affected by the coronavirus outbreak, Pop Up Grocer will also donate five percent of in-store sales to All Together ATX.
The pop-up shop, located at 408 W. 2nd St., will take extra safety measures to ensure the well-being of all shoppers and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Only four customers will be allowed in the store at a time; social distancing will be enforced with floor markers and masks or face-coverings are required.
Visitors who are hesitant to be inside the store with others can schedule an appointment-only shopping trip between 9 and 10 a.m. each day. Plus, all sold products will be pulled from the stockroom and be sanitized to ease shoppers’ minds.
Pop Up Grocer will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, from June 5 to June 28.
