While Austin might not have frozen lakes and freezing temps for plentiful ice skating opportunities, there are a handful of fun, seasonal set-ups that are perfect for a spin around the ice with friends, family, and loved ones. An ice skating adventure is also a great way to get into the holiday spirit! Below you’ll find some suggested places to go ice skating around Austin this season.

Ice Rink at Hill Country Galleria
The Hill Country Galleria and the City of Bee Cave have brought back their popular, seasonal ice rink for all to enjoy this winter — open November 14 through January 19. The ice rink will be open seven days a week. A number of walk-ups will be available, but reservations are encouraged. Ticket price is $16 and includes a skate rental and a 50-minute skate session. On Tuesdays, they’re offering $11 admission.

Ice Rodeo at the Four Seasons
Skate with views overlooking Lady Bird Lake at Austin’s elevated ice skating rink and winter experience. From November 21 through January 4, the Ice Rodeo at Four Seasons Hotel Austin features an outdoor ice rink, outdoor dining cabins, pop-up lounges, immersive holiday décor, extravagant art installations and more. Ice skating is $40 and includes entry, skate rental and 60 minutes of skating. Be sure to reserve your skating session in advance.
Ice Rink at the Long Center
The Long Center is bringing back its ice rink this year from November 22 to January 4. Ice skate under the lights with the best view of the city. Cozy up with a cup of cocoa & fresh popcorn, or cookies. Tickets start at $22 and include skate rental and one hour on the ice. Reserve online in advance.

Winter Ice Skating Rink in Marble Falls
Located at Lakeside Park, the Winter Ice Skating Rink will offer bumper cars only from Nov. 21 to Dec. 6, followed by an ice-skating-only season from Dec. 7 to Jan. 3. Advance online tickets are $12, and day-of tickets are $15. Be sure to book tickets in advance to secure your preferred skating time slot.
Eisbahn in Fredericksburg
Eisbahn returns to Marktplatz in downtown Fredericksburg from November 22 through January 4. This annual, seasonal ice skating rink in the Texas Hill Country raises funds for the Heritage School and local charities. All-day passes are $15 and include skate rental, with a $10 discount on Tuesdays. Tickets are sold at the skate trailer, where cash and major credit cards are accepted, and skaters receive a daylong stamp allowing reentry.
