“Farming the Revolution” takes viewers to the heart of the massive year-long protests against India’s newly enacted farm laws during the COVID lockdown. Over half a million protesters—men and women from all generations, religions, classes, and castes—gathered at the borders of Delhi, creating makeshift communities that redefined co-existence. The film captures the everyday resilience and spirit of this historic movement, leading up to its ultimate victory. Directed by Nishtha Jain, the 105-minute documentary is presented in Hindi and Punjabi with English subtitles. Following the screening, Jain will be in attendance for a live Q&A session.
