H-E-B has launched True Texas Tunes, a new monthly concert series in partnership with Housing Opportunities for Musicians and Entertainers (HOME). Held on the third Saturday of each month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the South Congress H-E-B’s True Texas BBQ patio, the series features performances from local musicians, with proceeds benefiting HOME’s mission to provide housing support for aging Austin artists.

The series kicks off May 17 with a performance by Marcia Ball’s Boogie Trinity featuring Floyd Domino and Nick Connolly. Upcoming acts include Shelley King, Carolyn Wonderland, Midnight Snack, Sister Golden Hair, and others. Admission is free.

Join the 7th Annual Abbey Lights Up COTA Gala on August 16! The iconic Circuit of The Americas will be transformed for a magical evening of joy and giving, with delectable bites and drinks, stellar auction items and a highly exclusive musical experience – Party in Pit Lane – with Grammy-winner Rick Trevino. Join local celebrity emcee, Chet Garner, for an epic night of fundraising for central Texas’ first pediatric respite/hospice facility, Abbey House, and additional programs all designed to support families throughout central Texas who are caring for medically fragile children.

Local nonprofit Beat 4 Beat celebrates 10 years of empowering youth through music with a special anniversary event at Meanwhile Brewing. The free, family-friendly celebration will feature live performances by Austin favorites Nakia, Deer Fellow, and DJ Jensen, plus a silent auction benefiting Beat 4 Beat’s after-school music education programs. Guests are invited to make a suggested $20 donation to support the organization’s mission of building confidence and community in underserved youth through music.

On Sunday, August 17, Bunkhouse Hotels, Luck Reunion, and Arlyn Studios will host a benefit concert at Hotel Magdalena in support of flood recovery efforts in Kerr County. The event will feature performances by Lyle Lovett, Los Lonely Boys, and other special guests, with 100% of ticket sales ($30 each, limited to 300 tickets) going to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.

Additional fundraising efforts include a silent auction featuring luxury hotel stays, concert passes, and VIP experiences; a $5,000 VIP Terrace Suite package with catered meals and pool access; a pop-up vinyl sale by Breakaway Records; and a cocktail bar by Equipment Room, with all proceeds benefiting the relief fund.

Local nonprofit The SIMS Foundation is hosting Music For The Mind, a one-night-only gala commemorating 30 years of supporting mental health in Austin’s music community. Held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Assembly Hall (1121 E 7th St), this intimate and elevated evening will gather 200 of Austin’s most influential musicians, industry leaders, creatives, and philanthropists for a celebration of the people who make our city the Live Music Capital of the World®. The night will feature a three-course seated dinner, open bar, silent auction, and an unforgettable, intimate live music performance which will soon be announced.
