Glow and Grow: A New Year, New Me Celebration, hosted by Swift Fit Events, will take place Feb. 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Assembly Hall, 1121 E. Seventh St. The choose-your-own-adventure wellness event invites participants to sample a range of fitness, mindfulness and self-care experiences designed to help kick off the new year.
The event includes interactive stations, short wellness samplers, fitness classes and recovery experiences, along with curated vendors. A limited VIP upgrade is also available, offering access to exclusive experiences and sponsor gifts.

The Austin Marathon will celebrate its 35th running at 7 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, drawing an estimated 30,000 runners to downtown Austin for a full marathon, half marathon and 5K.
The race features a scenic downtown course that winds through several of Austin’s neighborhoods and landmarks, including South Congress and Zilker Park, before finishing on historic Congress Avenue in front of the Texas State Capitol.
