Two new luxury brands have announced their store openings in Austin, adding to the growing list of luxury stores around the city. The global fashion brand Burberry and Parisian collection Sézane are joining the high-end lineup.

Sézane

Sézane is coming from Paris to Austin with an exclusive Texas-inspired line at a pop-up shop on South Congress opening on March 8th. The Cult Parisian Wardrobe originally chose Austin to launch its first-ever pop-up tour in the U.S. in 2020, but had to close doors before they even opened due to the coronavirus lockdown. Now finally returning, the brand will reflect the vibrant creativity of Austin in a 2,275 square foot boutique showcasing Sézane’s Grand Spring Collection, including never-before-seen pieces.

Burberry

Burberry, the upscale British brand founded in 1856, opened its doors at The Domain on March 1st. The store is decorated with fixtures designed by artist Casey McCafferty, alongside rugs from British artist Tom Atton Moore. Shoppers can take home an array of pieces from the Spring 2024 collection, including the sought-after Knight bag and Rocking Horse bag.

The addition of Burberry comes amongst an ongoing expansion at The Domain, with a multimillion-dollar redevelopment aimed towards luxury retailers. Renovations will take place throughout 2025 to include a redesign of indoor interiors as well as new outdoor spaces.
