Crestview/Brentwood | Allandale | Northwest Hills | Highland Park West

Crestview/Brentwood: John Dunham

John Dunham | Broker Assosciate + Principal Agent | Juice Real Estate Group
john@johndunham.com | johndunham.com | 512.431.3654

At local wine and coffee shop, The Violet Crown, John leans on his blue ’66 Bronco, a signature you’ll see parked outside his area listing

Anyone who spends time around Midtown Austin likely recognizes John Dunham’s vintage blue bronco driving to and from house showings in Crestview. This is the neighborhood where he bought his first home in Austin after college, and where he and his business partners established the Juice Real Estate Group Headquarters in 2019. Midtown’s allure lies in its perfect blend of old and new (like the Juice office on Koenig Ln). It is conveniently placed between the original Downtown and The Domain for not only entertainment purposes but as economic hubs where major employers are located. Those in the medical field will find an easy commute to Dell Children’s Hospital in East Austin.

These sister neighborhoods are the benefactors of the newly built Brentwood Elementary, and adjoining nine-acre park with pavilion, walking trail, basketball court and more (a huge draw for families). The Crestview Station on Airport Blvd is a draw for those seeking a light rail option to downtown or Q2 Stadium for soccer games. Burnet Road has a wealth of dining options today, plus a few classic watering holes like Ginny’s Little Longhorn Saloon and LaLa’s Little Nugget. When it comes to hidden gems in the area, the secret is out about Little Deli and Pizzeria, which is home to some of the best pizza and sandwiches in town. John is most excited about the addition across the parking lot, The Violet Crown.

Northwest Hills: Albert Allen

Albert Allen | Realtor, RA | Compass
albert.allen@compass.com | northwesthillsaustin.com | 512.589.9776

Albert stands on the entrance library of this stunning multi-level midcentury remodel, his latest favorite listing on Stonecliff Drive

Third generation Austinite Albert Allen puts his clients and community first. Actively involved in supporting roles at Anderson High School, Austin Board of Realtor’s diversity and legislative committees, and a non-profit (Rebuilding Together) that helps low-income homeowners with home renovations, he demonstrates his commitment to others. As a longtime resident of Northwest Hills, Albert describes the area as having “a hill country feel in the middle of the city.” With all housing types and sizes, and rolling hills throughout the neighborhood, many of the homes (most of which were built around 1960s-1980s) have greenbelt views, back to preserves, or have green space very nearby. According to Albert, Northwest Hills residents are kind, giving, and supportive people who are not only active in the neighborhood, but in the community at large.

As one of the least touristy neighborhoods in Austin, Northwest Hills is stacked with essential services – top medical facilities, schools, business services, and abundant green spaces. It is also conveniently located within fifteen minutes of Downtown, the Domain, Lake Austin, Zilker Park, and Mount Bonnell. as far as neighborhood traditions, Albert loves the annual Fourth of July Parade and Freedom Fest, featuring the “world-ish renowned” Lawn Chair Brigade.
