Once a spot that proved challenging to book a reservation, the immersive bar and restaurant, Tiki Tatsu-Ya, has launched a very casual way to experience its vibrant ambiance. The Retreat at The Nest is their new concept, which offers Monday and Tuesday no-reservation access to the upstairs beach house bar that also features a new menu.

The Retreat at The Nest offers fun, laid-back tiki time from 5 p.m. to midnight, exclusively on Mondays and Tuesdays. The Tatsu-Ya team shared that this experience “is all about approachability. Guests are encouraged to walk straight up to the bar, grab a drink, and find a seat. Whether waiting for a table downstairs, starting their night out, or simply looking to enjoy good times with friends spur of the moment.”

The special cocktail menu includes eight new creations with Hawaiian, Polynesian, and Asian influences, highlighting the role of rum in Tiki culture, priced at $10-$15 each. The snack menu differs slightly from the downstairs menu, including items such as Mochiko Wings, Yokozuna Riblets, Taro Tots, Coconut Shrimp and the Spam Sando.
