Locals Cheered for Kim Lewis Designs at a Lively Austin Watch Party of HGTV’s “100 Day Hotel Challenge”
Friends and colleagues gathered at the Cowboy Pools HQ to toast to Austin-based Interior Designer, Kim Lewis, in celebration of her team’s latest work on the popular HGTV show
On September 3, friends and colleagues of Kim Lewis were invited to join the celebration of her team’s work on the latest HGTV show, 100 Day Hotel Challenge at the colorful and vibey Cowboy Pools showroom in South Austin. Kim Lewis Designs had been selected to design the remodels of two boutique hotels in Salter Path, North Carolina for HGTV.
Kim Lewis Designs worked behind the scenes with 18 different HGTV on-camera designers to remodel two rundown seaside motels for the show. Lewis’ team managed various aspects of the design and rebrand for both properties, including the selection of all finishes, lighting, furniture and procurement of all pieces. They also included several artists and brands from Austin on the show, including Clay Imports, Cowboy Pools, Four Hands, and artists Emily Eisenhart, Lucas Aoki, Tessa Brown, and Greg Rainford.
At the watch party for 100 Day Hotel Challenge, guests enjoy cocktails, bites from the forthcoming Cousin Louie’s Italian Restaurant, and all were welcome to take a dip in the heated cowboy pools (although it was only the kiddos who took advantage of that element of fun).

In this show, you will get a peek into the revamp of The Beacon Hotel (formerly known as the Salter Path Inn) and The William & Garland Motel, now both charming waterside retreats.
