Kinda Tropical will host a Vintage Market on Saturday, Jan. 17, bringing together more than 30 local vendors selling vintage clothing, jewelry, art and home goods. The market runs from noon to 6 p.m. at Kinda Tropical and features sellers such as Red Heart Gal Collective, New Kid Vintage, House of Leschly, Livra Books and Hellhound Vintage.

Guests can shop throughout the afternoon while enjoying food and drinks from the café, including a Dry January–friendly mocktail menu with nonalcoholic spritzes, margarita-inspired drinks and zero-proof classics.

“Reuse On the Runway: The Exhibit” will be on view Jan. 17–Feb. 28, 2026, at the Julia C. Butridge Gallery at the Dougherty Arts Center, showcasing 24 upcycled couture looks from Austin Creative Reuse’s 2025 Reuse on the Runway fashion show. The exhibition features designs created from repurposed materials such as fabric remnants, architectural samples, newspapers and everyday objects.

An artist reception is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 21, from 7 to 9 p.m., followed by an artist talk on Tuesday, Feb. 3, from 7 to 9 p.m. The exhibit highlights the intersection of fashion, sustainability and creative reuse.
