Pull up a seat for our second annual Street Dinner, presented by Waldorf Astoria Residences Texas Hill Country— Set beneath the Texas sky on historic Austin Street in downtown Fredericksburg, guests will gather around one long communal table for an unforgettable night.

The acclaimed plant-based SEED Food & Wine Festival debuts in Austin from October 22 to 26, featuring a week of wellness-forward programming, culinary experiences, and community events that celebrate conscious living.

An intimate, multi-course plant-forward dinner by Austin chefs, including Alexa Mejia (Emmer & Rye). All proceeds support Good Work Austin’s initiatives for equity and sustainability in the hospitality industry.

The 19th annual No Idea Festival returns Oct. 24–26, presenting an international lineup of artists exploring free improvisation, composition, free jazz, noise, and sonic experimentation. The festival highlights musicians’ creative processes through a mix of established groups, new collaborations, and first-time performances curated by the organizers.

Events will take place at Alienated Majesty Books, the Scottish Rite Theater, and multiple house concert locations in Bouldin Creek.

Mexic-Arte Museum’s 42nd Annual Viva La Vida Festival and Parade is Austin’s largest and longest-running Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) event. Co-presented by the Austin Convention Center and the City of Austin, this year’s festival will take place on Saturday, October 25, at 4th Street and Congress Avenue. The festivities begin with a Grand Procession at noon. Festival activities run until 6 p.m. Participants can enjoy the Education Pavilion with hands-on art activities, traditional foods, local artists and retail booths, a low-rider exhibition, and live performances throughout the day

Juliet Italian Kitchen will celebrate the season with its annual Fall Harvest Wine Festival, returning for three weekends of wine tasting and live music. The series kicks off at Juliet Georgetown on Oct. 19, followed by Barton Springs on Nov. 2 and the Arboretum on Nov. 16. Each event runs from 1 to 4 p.m.

Guests can sample from 16 red, white and sparkling wines while enjoying a giant charcuterie board and live entertainment. Each $50 ticket includes admission and 14 tasting tickets, allowing guests to try a curated selection of wines. Bottles will also be available for purchase at special event pricing.

The 14th annual Austin Food & Wine Festival, presented by C3 Presents, is back this fall for three days of world-class food, wine, and spirits. From Nov. 7–9, Auditorium Shores transforms into a culinary playground, spotlighting celebrated chefs, pitmasters, and beverage experts from Austin and across the country.

• Fire Pit — Live-fire cooking with pitmasters and chefs curated by Jason Dady (Nov. 8) and John Bates (Nov. 9).
• Chef Showcase — Signature bites from Austin’s top restaurants, from Uchi to la Barbecue, plus exciting new spots.

The nonprofit Been There will host its fourth annual benefit festival, Been There 4, on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at Radio East. The event will feature performances by Mix Master Mike (Beastie Boys), Ben Kweller, Grandmaster, DeadEye, Panic Stricken, TC Superstar, Benji Hughes, Ruby Jane, and additional artists to be announced.

Proceeds from the festival will benefit Been There and three Austin nonprofits addressing homelessness: The Other Ones Foundation (TOOF), Caritas of Austin, and Sunrise Navigation Center. The event will also include a pop-up gallery from Art From the Streets, live painting by muralist Chris Rogers, and the launch of “Been There Beer,” a Real Ale Brewing Co. collaboration supporting local housing initiatives.

Been There has raised more than $3 million since its founding in 2021. Early bird tickets start at a $20 minimum donation, with additional donation tiers and VIP options available.
