Juliet Italian Kitchen will celebrate the season with its annual Fall Harvest Wine Festival, returning for three weekends of wine tasting and live music. The series kicks off at Juliet Georgetown on Oct. 19, followed by Barton Springs on Nov. 2 and the Arboretum on Nov. 16. Each event runs from 1 to 4 p.m.

Guests can sample from 16 red, white and sparkling wines while enjoying a giant charcuterie board and live entertainment. Each $50 ticket includes admission and 14 tasting tickets, allowing guests to try a curated selection of wines. Bottles will also be available for purchase at special event pricing.

Hattie B’s Hot Chicken will open its second Austin outpost on Nov. 5 at 3100 Esperanza Crossing, Suite 130, in Domain NORTHSIDE. The Nashville-based restaurant, known for its spicy fried chicken and Southern sides, first opened on South Lamar in 2023. The new 2,300-square-foot space features indoor and patio seating and a bold red-and-white design with neon chicken silhouettes. Guests can expect signature favorites such as the Classic Chicken Sandwich, Dirty Bird Fries, and Boozy Frozen Drinks.

Immersive experiences throughout the estate invite guests to engage with Austin’s creative heartbeat, while the newly unveiled Inn at Green Pastures offers an exclusive glimpse into the property’s elegant evolution.

At the heart of the evening stand the Curators themselves — Amanda Turner, Brad Stuver, Cassandra Shankman, Cynthia Aguillón Bernard, Emily Eisenhart, Evan LeRoy, Evan Voyles, Fermín Núñez, Kim Lewis and Michael Hsu. Together, they represent the vanguard of Austin’s cultural landscape, and this celebration presents a rare opportunity to connect with these visionaries in person.

The kick-off to Auction weekend – this exclusive, elegant luncheon takes place the day before the Auction & Gala at FIXE Southern House, and includes a multi-course lunch paired with wines provided by our Featured Winemaker. This is an intimate, 4-course, fine-dining experience and an opportunity for a more in-depth conversation with our 2025 Featured Winemaker, Eric Jensen, Booker Vineyard. We will sample some of the winemaker’s most special offerings and learn more about each wine. FIXE is planning a perfectly paired lunch menu to accompany these exceptional wines. There will also be a mini auction to get everyone in the spirit for Saturday’s festivities, and a first look at the final version of the 2025 Auction Catalog!

The 14th annual Austin Food & Wine Festival, presented by C3 Presents, is back this fall for three days of world-class food, wine, and spirits. Emmer & Rye, the Rainey Street restaurant that helped redefine Austin’s culinary landscape, will celebrate its 10th anniversary with events on Nov. 8 and 9.

To kick off the anniversary weekend, Emmer & Rye will host a special edition of its Breaking Bread Guest Chef Series featuring celebrated Portland chef Gourdet of Kann and Sousòl. On Saturday, Nov. 8, Gourdet will join chefs Fink and Bristol-Joseph to serve one-night-only dishes alongside highlights from the restaurant’s past decade. Known for his award-winning Haitian restaurant, spotlighting the flavors of the African and Caribbean diaspora alongside the bounty of the Pacific Northwest, Gourdet’s approach echoes the Emmer & Rye ethos.

In celebration of 20 years of Austin’s favorite slice, the iconic pizza joint is bringing back its beloved carnival for one day only at the South Congress location’s parking lot.

What began in 2006 as a small fundraiser to celebrate Home Slice’s first anniversary became an 11-year tradition, drawing crowds for its games, live music, raffles and of course, plenty of pizza. The family-friendly event benefits Foundation Communities, a local nonprofit that provides affordable homes and free on-site support services to thousands of families, veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities.
