Austin Sports Club, a new dining and entertainment concept from Lobos Hospitality, opens Sept. 10 at 205 E. Third St. in downtown Austin. Developed in partnership with Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman’s Boardroom Hospitality and Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia, the venue takes inspiration from classic American athletic clubs, with a design rooted in 1960s and ’70s sports culture.
The menu features elevated American fare including rib-eye, grilled branzino, lobster rolls, caviar and tater tots, along with cocktails, wine, beer and weekend brunch. The club will also offer game-day viewing and reservable premium seating with food and beverage minimums.

Hotel Van Zandt will host its inaugural HAAM & G’s Annual Benefit Dinner at Geraldine’s, bringing together Austin’s music and culinary communities in support of the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians. The evening will feature a welcome reception, four-course prix-fixe dinner from Executive Chef Sergio Ledesma, a raffle, live music and a champagne send-off.
The music lineup includes DJ Honey Pocket, Alan Eckert Trio, Mobley and Sir Woman, with the celebration continuing afterward at Brass Poppy with DJ Eye Q and Ari on Sax. Proceeds benefit HAAM, which provides Austin-area musicians with access to affordable health care, wellness and prevention services.
Tickets are $150 per person and include dinner, one raffle ticket and wine service during dinner. Tables for up to eight guests are available for $1,200.

The evening begins with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m., featuring seasonal bites from Austin restaurants including Paperboy, Austin Oyster Co., Siti and Eldorado Cafe, followed by dinner and a chef competition at 7 p.m. Pecan Square Café executive chef Chelsea Fadda and Comedor chef-owner Philip Speer will face off using seasonal produce from the Urban Roots farm, with Urban Roots youth serving as judges. Dinner will be catered by La Pera and paired with Texas wine. Proceeds support Urban Roots’ youth leadership and food access programs.
