ArtUs Co. will open its 2026 exhibition season with “Here & Now,” an open-themed group show launching with a public reception Friday, Feb. 6, from 7 to 11 p.m. The free opening party will feature music by Chappie Funk and drinks by Goodnight Loving Vodka. The exhibition runs through March 20, 2026.

‘Selective Memory’ brings together four Austin artists whose works explore how to filter, edit and reconstruct lived experiences. Working across diverse mediums and concepts, each artist engages with memory in their own way — through found materials of the past, movement or finely detailed work that mirrors how memories surface and dissolve. Exhibition runs through March 21, 2026.

Wally Workman Gallery will present “James Andrew Smith and Owen Mann: Floral” from Feb. 7 through March 1, 2026, with an opening reception Saturday, Feb. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibition pairs Smith’s hyperrealist paintings with Mann’s porcelain sculptures, capturing flowers at the edge of realism and emphasizing both the simplicity and abundance of natural beauty. Smith lives and works in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Mann is based in Greenough, Montana. The exhibition marks Smith’s fifth show in Texas and Mann’s first.

UMLAUF Sculpture Garden & Museum is celebrating the Year of the Horse with a free, family-friendly afternoon of art, performances and hands-on activities. Programming includes storytimes at noon and 1 p.m., a 2 p.m. dance performance by the Love of China School of Dance, and all-day offerings such as calligraphy, origami, cultural crafts, sculpture searches and community engagement booths.

UMLAUF presents its newest exhibition, “Women Who Wander,” on February 11 bringing together artists Jennifer Ling Datchuk, Yoshie Sakai, and Tammie Rubin, who work across diverse mediums to explore themes of female identity, migration, and belonging.
