Mark your calendars—the Second Annual Trick Hat Invitational is teeing off on May 1st at 3 PM at Trick Hat Workway, and you’re invited!
This isn’t your average golf tournament. It’s an afternoon hang with friendly competition, an insider look into our community, cold beer, good food, and great company. We’ll kick things off with pre-tournament drinks at Trick Hat before heading over the pedestrian bridge in true Austin fashion: a bagpiper-led procession to Butler Pitch & Putt. Whether you’re playing in the tournament or just along for the fun, come join us!

KUTX and its Sunday evening family show, “Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child,” return with their free, family-friendly concert series to the Mueller Lake Park Amphitheater this spring. The community-focused lineup will feature a mix of local talent and nationally recognized artists, with performances scheduled for March 28, April 11 and May 2.
Each evening begins at 6:45 p.m. with an opening act, followed by headliners at 7:30 p.m. The series kicks off Friday, March 28, with performances by Cloud Companion and Grandmaster. On April 11, the Akins High School Mariachi will open for DJ and producer LP Giobbi. The series concludes May 2 with The Telephone Company, followed by hip-hop duo Tribe Mafia.
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring water, picnic blankets, and hearing protection for children. Food trucks and restaurants around the park will be open, and outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome. Attendees should note that chairs, glass containers and alcohol are not permitted.

The iconic Pecan Street Festival is marking its 50th anniversary with a new chapter and a new venue. In partnership with Hill Country Galleria, the beloved Austin art and music festival will take place Saturday, May 3 through Sunday, May 4, offering a family-friendly weekend of live music, local art, and community celebration.
As one of Austin’s longest-running street festivals, the Pecan Street Festival has outgrown its original downtown footprint. The move to Hill Country Galleria provides expanded space, free parking, and enhanced amenities, making the festival more accessible for Austin’s growing population while preserving its rich tradition.
The milestone event will feature local artisans and vendors, live music, kids’ rides, a petting zoo, and more. Admission is free and open to the public.

In a bold reimagining of Shakespeare’s classic political tragedy, the production casts most of the conspirators as women, offering a fresh perspective on themes of ambition, betrayal, and power. The play is part of Austin Shakespeare’s long-running tradition of Free Shakespeare in the Park, now celebrating its 40th year.
Audiences are invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics for an evening of live theater under the stars at Zilker Park’s Hillside Theatre. Admission is free and open to the public.

Join Gioconda along with some amazing members of our Austin Teaching Community for an hour of Yin and Sound. Yin yoga gives you space and time to settle into some deep work on your connective tissues. This session will also include guided breathing and visualization while you are in the practice. Our sound healers will be creating an incredible sound-scape to support your experience in this beautiful outdoor offering and we will have assistants to help you find the best versions of each shape for your body. Special donor packages, including an exclusive preview picnic and backstage tours, are available for supporters contributing $200 or more.
