Ivester Contemporary will present a panel discussion on Saturday, Dec. 13, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the south entrance of Barton Springs, 1000 Azie Morton Road. The conversation highlights artist Alexis Hunter’s solo exhibition, “Today Is a Wonderful Day. I’ve Never Seen This One Before…”
Hunter will be joined by fellow Swim Club members and artists Kate Csillagi, Juliette Nickle, Virginia L. Montgomery and Tanya Zal, offering perspectives on water, community and creative practice.
Following the discussion, attendees are invited to join Swim Club for a dip in the springs, reflecting the shared rituals at the heart of Hunter’s work. Guests should bring a folding chair or blanket.
