Directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien, the North American tour celebrates the 65th anniversary of the beloved Rodgers and Hammerstein musical. The production features iconic songs including “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” and “Climb Ev’ry Mountain.”

“The Great Gatsby” will arrive at Bass Concert Hall for a one-week run March 10–15, 2026, as part of Texas Performing Arts’ Broadway in Austin season. The Tony Award-winning musical, based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel, brings a jazz- and pop-infused score, lavish production design and a fresh adaptation to the touring stage following record-breaking runs on Broadway, the West End and in Seoul.
Performances will take place Tuesday through Sunday, with tickets starting at $48. They go on sale Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. through TexasPerformingArts.org, BroadwayinAustin.com or the Bass Concert Hall ticket office.

Part of the Broadway in Austin 2025–2026 season, the smash-hit musical features the songs of ABBA and tells the story of a mother, a daughter and three possible fathers on a Greek island. Since premiering in London in 1999 and opening on Broadway in 2001, “MAMMA MIA!” has been seen by more than 70 million people worldwide and inspired two films.
Performances are scheduled Tuesday through Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 1 and 6:30 p.m. Tickets start at $36.

The Heller Awards for Young Artists (HAYA), Central Texas’ premier high school musical theater awards program, will take the stage at Bass Concert Hall for the first time in 2026. Now under the leadership of Texas Performing Arts (TPA) in collaboration with Impact Arts, the move marks a major new chapter for the program, which has grown from 19 participating schools at its founding in 2014 to 37 schools in 2025, impacting more than 20,000 students and educators.
Modeled after the Tony Awards®, the HAYAs recognize excellence both on stage and behind the scenes, with 19 award categories including best production, lead and supporting performances, and technical design. Winners are also eligible to advance to the National High School Musical Theatre Awards® (The Jimmy Awards®) in New York City.

The high-energy revival reimagines “The Wizard of Oz” through a contemporary lens, featuring a score rooted in soul, gospel, rock and 1970s funk. Performances run Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m., and Sunday at 1 and 6:30 p.m.
