More than 400 guests gathered at Palmer Events Center on September 18 for the Women’s Symphony League of Austin’s 2026 Fashion Luncheon, Une Invitation à l’Élégance. Drawing inspiration from Parisian style and sophistication, the annual event celebrated fashion, philanthropy and Austin’s vibrant creative community while supporting the Austin Symphony Orchestra and its music education programs across Central Texas.
Actress, author and longtime wellness and environmental advocate Alicia Silverstone was this year’s featured guest. The actress, widely recognized for her role as Cher Horowitz in “Clueless,” joined attendees for an intimate VIP reception before participating in a lively onstage conversation as part of the luncheon program.
Fashion and philanthropy
Fashion took center stage with a runway presentation produced by Sue Webber Productions, featuring looks from Estilo, Garden Room and St. Bernard. Members of the Women’s Symphony League Royal Court also joined the festivities, bringing together several of the organization’s most beloved traditions.
Guests arrived early to shop the Paris-inspired marketplace, mingle over cocktails and participate in the luncheon raffle, which featured a curated collection of Austin experiences, fashion, beauty and lifestyle packages.
Co-chaired by Amanda Pettitt and Melissa Billman, the luncheon also celebrated honorary chairs Laurée Moffett and Corinne Moffett and Women’s Symphony League President Elizabeth Rose.
From the Parisian-inspired atmosphere and runway looks to Silverstone’s engaging conversation with attendees, the afternoon brought together fashion, community and philanthropy while highlighting the Women’s Symphony League’s continued commitment to music education across Central Texas.
