Cabana Club Opens with a Splashy Day-to-Night Swim + Dining Destination in East Austin
Cool down at Austin's hot new spot for cocktails, coffee, food, and a cold dip in the pool
Cabana Club, a new hospitality concept in East Austin, has officially opened to the public just in time for to cool us down this summer. Located at 5012 E. 7 St., the space — developed by a team of hospitality experts from across Austin — serves as a comprehensive community hub offering cocktails, coffee, food, and beer, with a fun twist. The all-day hangout includes a swimming pool, vibey clubhouse ideal for remote workers, an expansive patio, and more, all elevating this Eastside spot.
“We created Cabana Club to be a place for anyone, anytime, any reason,” says Scott Withers, co-owner of Cabana Club. “We’re approachable to the entire Austin community; all are welcome at our club. Guests can start the day with a cold brew and their laptop and end with a dip in the pool and an ice-cold beverage, all in one spot.”
Keep cool in the pool
Open just in time for summer, Cabana Club features a pool for guests 21 and older, with nine cabanas and umbrella seating options available by reservation or on a first-come, first-served basis. The urban oasis offers five-star service at an approachable price. Poolside lounging includes priority service from the outdoor bar, specialty cocktails, towels, and more. Cabanas and seating options are open all day, perfect for remote work, lounging, and happy hours with friends.

Expansive patio offers shade and fans
In addition to a gorgeous cooled pool, the outdoor space includes an expansive patio with ample seating covered by a 2,500-square-foot retractable pergola. Texas weather doesn’t stand a chance against the shade, fans, and heaters available throughout each season. The indoor space has additional seating and a bar with 20 different beverages on tap. Tap beverages include local beers, the popular Progress Coffee espresso martini, and rotating single-serving and large-format cocktails.
“We noticed an unmet demand in the Austin hospitality scene for a venue that can easily transition from day to night, becoming more than just a quick stop through the day. With Cabana Club, we’ve designed a venue where Austinites can spend the entire day and night and still want to come back time and time again,” says Matthew Napolilli, co-owner of Cabana Club.
Coffee, cocktails, food trucks and more
Cabana Club goes beyond the typical coffee bar, providing a place that easily adapts from day to night and indoor to outdoor fun. The concept acts as a truly transitional space, with morning coffee service by Austin staple Progress Coffee and full bar offerings all day long. The space also features a walk-up food window offering breakfast and lunch service to eastsiders from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The backyard space offers food from three local trailers, including a new concept by the Pueblo Viejo group.
Cabana Club is open from 7 a.m. to midnight on weekdays. For more information on Cabana Club, visit cabanaclubaustin.com and follow along on social media at @cabanaclubatx.
