We celebrated the launch of our September/October Arts & Entertainment Issue on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Only the Wild Ones, the new vinyl lounge and wine bar on South Congress featured in the magazine.

The evening brought together the TRIBEZA team, contributors, advertisers and many of the artists, performers and local leaders highlighted throughout the issue. Guests enjoyed signature honeydew margaritas and passed appetizers around the courtyard’s sunken limestone conversation pit, where seating circles a live oak.

The latest issue explores the people and places shaping Austin’s arts and culture scene. The cover story goes behind the scenes at Ballet Austin, where Artistic Director Stephen Mills shares the histories of some of the company’s most memorable costumes. Ballet Austin dancers and cover stars Dianetzy Rojas and Lexi Eicher model the intricate pieces, showing how costume design contributes to the storytelling onstage.

The issue also previews upcoming exhibitions at the Blanton Museum of Art and The Contemporary Austin, visits the newly opened 1 Hotel Austin and takes readers inside Only the Wild Ones. Additional stories spotlight local musicians, film and television projects with Austin ties, game-day fashion and more.
