What

Dot Dot Dot Connect is welcoming award-winning Polish journalist and author of “How to Feed a Dictator,” Witold Szablowski, for an unforgettable week of events exploring the intersection of food, tyranny, history and politics.

The events include a discussion at the UT campus, a hands-on cooking workshop, a special “dictator’s dish” and book signing at a popular East Austin restaurant and a public library talk. They will blend storytelling, history, and cuisine.

A special meet-and-greet and book signing pop-up at East Austin’s iconic restaurant Justine’s, “rooted in the spectacular events and artistic collaborations for which the space is now notorious” (Ben Wright, Tribeza). Witold Szabłowski, the award-winning author and storyteller behind “How to Feed a Dictator,” will be there at a table from 1-3:30 pm to meet guests and sign books (available for sale there). Justine’s will be adding a dictators’ dish, adapted from the book by their chef Manuel Rocha, as a special in their lunch menu, just for this occasion. Expect an afternoon spiced with stories, laughter, and conversation—a feast for the mind, body, and soul. Visit www.dotdotdotconnect.org for more information
